Indian Army GD is a part of the general duty section, where the real defense
soldiers exist, this includes the Rifleman, the land defense force,
fighting troops, drivers, operators, gunners, etc.
Annually the Indian Army GD releases vacancies for the post of soldiers.
In order to appear for the selection round, an individual has to qualify through different
criteria like educational, marital, nationality, physical and medical.
The candidates need to have scored a minimum of 33 marks out of 100 in their core subjects
in the 10th standard.
The candidate’s aggregate should sum up to a minimum of 45%.
The candidate's best 5 will be considered for all calculations.
